We have finally hit the Audi 2016 MLS Cup Playoffs, and 12 teams are vying to lift the cup on Dec. 10.
To reach that goal, they will have to rely on their top players. Below you can find the top players for each playoff team according to the Audi Player Index. The scores are the average of each player's Audi Player Index score per game.
One of these players will not be participating in the playoffs, as Mauro Diaztore his Achilles in the second-to-last game of the season. The playmaker is FC Dallas' best player, according to the Audi Player Index and will be a huge loss for the Supporters' Shield winners. His 13 assists earned him 340 points each; no other Dallas player has more than five assists.
