New England Revolution sign MLS SuperDraft pick Femi Hollinger-Janzen

The New England Revolution have added to their squad with the signing of 2016 MLS SuperDraft pick Femi Hollinger-Janzen, the club announced on Wednesday.

Hollinger-Janzen, a forward, was selected 51st overall by the Revolution in the SuperDraft out of Indiana University, where he won the NCAA national championship in 2012. He played in one Desert Diamond Cup preseason match for New England.

Born in Benin, Hollinger-Janzen was abandoned by his birth parents as an infant and born with a leg deformity, but was adopted and eventually moved to Indiana with his family, and was Indiana's Gatorade Player of the Year in 2011.
