A native of Benin, Hollinger-Janzen will provide forward depth for New England during the 2017 season after ranking second on the team in substitute appearances in 201 with 18 and scored two goals with one assist. He was one of three players selected in the third round or later of the 2016 SuperDraft to make an MLS regular season appearance as a rookie.
COLLEGE: Hollinger-Janzen played four years at Indiana University, tallying 22 goals and eight assists in 88 games. A member of Indiana’s 2012 NCAA College Cup winning team as a freshman, Hollinger-Janzen scored the game-winning goal in the semifinal victory over Creighton that year en route to earning a spot on the College Cup All-Tournament Team. He helped lead the Hoosiers to the NCAA Tournament in each of his four seasons with the team as well as a Big Ten championship as a junior in 2014, while earning First Team All-Big Ten honors in both his junior and senior seasons. He started 42 of his team’s games in those two seasons, setting career-highs with eight goals and five assists as well as three game-winning goals during his senior season.
