Save of the Week

Real Salt Lake's Nick Rimando wins league-leading fourth Save of the Week award with low stop

No stranger to the Save of the Week award, Nick Rimando has once again moved ahead of the rest of the pack.

Rimando won his league-leading fourth Save of the Week honor in Week 25 on Friday for his low block on Atiba Harris. The impressive save came at the end of the first half of Real Salt Lake's match at the San Jose Earthquakes this past Saturday, and kept RSL from conceding the go-ahead goal in what was a 1-1 draw.

The 35-year-old goalkeeper's block claimed nearly 38 percent of the vote, pushing him past Portland Timbers netminder Donovan Ricketts for the 2014 Save of the Week lead. Ricketts was also up for this week's accolade, but finish in fourth place.

Save of the Week, Week 25: Final Results

1. Nick Rimando (RSL): 37.88%

3. Joe Nasco (COL): 17.67%
