The US Under-23 men’s national team defeated the Bahamas first team 5-1 on Wednesday at the Thompson A. Robinson National Stadium in Nassau, Bahamas, as the young Yanks continue their early preparation ahead of qualification for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

It was a well-rounded offensive effort as five different players scored for the USA: Alfred Koroma Shams, Seattle Sounders product Jordan Morris, Real Salt Lake’s Luis Gil, Dennis Flores and the Vancouver Whitecaps’ Omar Salgado.

The US started their Olympic preparation phase with an U-21 camp at US Soccer’s National Training Center in April.
