Save of the Week

Houston Dynamo's Tally Hall captures Save of the Week honors with stupendous block vs. New York

The Houston Dynamo didn't have much to smile about in last week's 4-0 defeat to the New York Red Bulls. But Tally Hall's save on Bradley Wright-Phillips was a moment of which club can be proud.

Hall's acrobatic stop won the veteran goalkeeper the Save of the Week award for Week 8. Hall earned nearly 27 percent of the vote, narrowly edging New York goalkeeper Luis Robles for the award.

Robles finished in second place after claiming approximately 26 percent of the vote for his flying denial of Waylon Francis in New York's 1-1 draw with the Columbus Crew last Saturday.

Final Votes - Week 7:

1. Tally Hall (HOU): 26.9%
2. Luis Robles (NY): 25.51%
3. Steve Clark on Henry (CLB): 19.15%
4. Chris Seitz (DAL): 15.39%
5. Steve Clark on Alexander (CLB): 13.05%
