Rancid drummer Brandon Steineckert rocks on the best US Soccer drum you'll ever see | THE SIDELINE -

That's the snare drum that will accompany publicly professed Real Salt Lake supporter and Rancid drummer, Branden Steineckert, on the rock band's North American tour this summer. Steineckert posted the picture to his Instagram account on Wednesday night, and it's been making the social media rounds ever since.

This isn't the first time Steineckert has gotten involved with the soccer teams he supports. The master on drums penned what has become RSL's unofficial official in-stadium anthem after it caught on Internet fire following a promomotional video prior to the 2012 season. This also lead to Steineckert sitting down with the Major League Soccer video guys for a feature interview about his love for the game, and RSL.

In short, Steinkeckert is pretty rad (do the kids still say "rad?"). Perhaps he can drop that drum off with the American Outlaws — guaranteed to take good care and put it to good use — for the US national team's upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Jamaica, Panama and Honduras. After their 4-2 friendly defeat against Belgium on Wednesday night, we'll take whatever little boost we can get.

And US goalkeeper Brad Guzan is more than stoked to be featured prominently on the Centennial-themed design as well.
