The fans love Brek Shea these days.
That was the final verdict of a week-long fan ballot on Facebook, in which MLS fans voted for the FC Dallas and US national team winger as their favorite MLS player under the age of 24.
Shea was followed by fellow US national team players Juan Agudelo (New York Red Bulls), Freddy Adu (Philadelphia Union) and Teal Bunbury (Sporting Kansas City). Seattle Sounders winger Steve Zakuani rounds out the Top 5 favorites.
MLSsoccer.com’s official "24 Under 24" list, as determined by an expert panel of national observers, will be revealed starting on Tuesday.
