LOS ANGELES/NEW YORK – This summer, the world’s top international clubs and teams from Major League Soccer (MLS) will compete in North America in the Herbalife World Football Challenge, one of the largest soccer events ever staged in the region. MLS and CAA Sports today unveiled the complete roster of sponsorship partners for the Herbalife World Football Challenge, which include AT&T, adidas, American Airlines, Bridgestone, Degree Men, Incapital, Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc., Lowe’s, Coors Light, Pepsi Max, and Volkswagen, with Herbalife on-board as the title sponsor.
To date, top international clubs FC Barcelona, Manchester City, Manchester United, Juventus FC, Real Madrid, CD Guadalajara, and Club América, along with MLS teams Chicago Fire, LA Galaxy, New England Revolution, Philadelphia Union, and Vancouver Whitecaps FC have announced their participation in the Herbalife World Football Challenge. From July 13 through August 6, the Challenge will be played in nearly a dozen cities across North America and offers sponsors a rich sports marketing platform including in- and around-stadium activation and market-specific promotional opportunities.
As title sponsor and "Official Nutrition Company" of the event, Herbalife will provide all participating teams with its new line of premier sports products, Herbalife24. The line is the first comprehensive performance nutrition line empowering athletes 24 hours a day.
