Individual game tickets for Chicago Fire's inaugural season at Bridgeview Stadium on sale Monday, May 1 at 10:00 a.m.

CHICAGO, IL - The Chicago Fire announced today that individual game tickets for the Fire's highly anticipated Inaugural Season at Bridgeview Stadium will go on sale this Monday, May 1 at 10:00 a.m. CT. The "Men in Red" will kick-off their 16-game MLS home campaign on Sunday, June 11 with a public safety match which is open only to Chicago Fire season ticket holders and Bridgeview residents. Tickets to the Fire's remaining 15 home matches at Chicagoland's newest live entertainment venue will be available beginning Monday. In addition, only limited seats are available for the Fire's Grand Opening match against the New York Red Bulls on Sunday, June 25 (6:00 p.m. CT, CSN).

"There is certainly a special buzz and excitement in the air for the Fire's first season at Bridgeview Stadium. This has translated into unprecedented renewal rates and new full season ticket subscription sales," said Chicago Fire President/CEO John Guppy. "We fully expect that individual ticket sales will also be extremely strong in light of the added attention of last week's announcement that the Sierra Mist MLS All-Star Game is coming to Bridgeview this summer."

Individual game tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster outlets or by calling 312-559-1212 or visiting www.ticketmaster.com beginning Monday at 10:00 a.m. CT. Tickets can also be purchased at the Chicago Fire Offices, located at 980 N. Michigan, Suite 1998 (corner of Oak/Michigan) in Chicago. To order season tickets or for group discounts, please call 1-888-MLS-FIRE.

Last week the Fire introduced a private sale exclusively for season ticket holders looking to purchase tickets for the 2006 Sierra Mist MLS All-Star Game, which will pit defending English Premiership Champion Chelsea FC against the League's top stars. The 2006 Sierra Mist MLS All-Star Game will be held at the Fire's new, $98 million world-class venue on Saturday, Aug. 5 (5:30 p.m. CT, ESPN). Tickets for the mid-summer MLS classic are available to Fire season ticket holders by calling 1-888-MLS-FIRE or by visiting the team's official website at www.Chicago-Fire.com.

The Fire has also announced that only 100 Club Level Seats remain in Section 127, as Sections 128 and 129 were sold out earlier this year.
