EDDIE JOHNSON AND CARLOS RUIZ LEND HAND IN WIN: During FC Dallas' 2-1 victory over the Chicago Fire in the first leg of the Brimstone Cup, forwards Eddie Johnson and Carlos Ruiz chipped in on both goals after returning from National Team duty for the U.S. and Guatemala, respectively. Ruiz made a nice header touch pass to Richard Mulrooney just two minutes into the match that Mulrooney drilled home for a 1-0 lead. Then, in the second minute of the second half (47th minute), Johnson buried what proved to be the game-winner with a header on a crossing pass from Carey Talley.
