Media members in Southern California for MLS Cup Weekend are invited to register for the inaugural MLS Media Cup presented by the U.S. Soccer Foundation on Saturday, November 13 at The Home Depot Center Field No. 5 (2:30 p.m. PT). The U.S. Soccer Foundation and MLS have teamed up to create the annual event, which will also feature special appearances by current and former MLS players including legends Alexi Lalas and Hall of Famer Paul Caligiuri, who will serve as team captains.
The MLS Media Cup will be held following the final MLS Cup practice at The Home Depot Center (final team practice kicks off at 1:30 p.m. PT). Media members are expected to bring their own equipment and gear for the games which will consist of 12-minute halves on turf field No. 5.
Roster spots on the teams ARE LIMITED and the deadline for registration is MONDAY, NOVEMBER 8 at 5:00 P.M ET. All media members are requested to (a) fax or e-mail the attached registration form or (b) to RSVP by Monday, Nov. 8 to:
