Real Salt Lake invites all to Holiday Open House

SALT LAKE CITY - Real Salt Lake invites fans, sponsors and media to come join RSL players and front office staff at the RSL Holiday Open House. The event will be held at RSL offices located on the 2nd floor of Trolley Corners at 515 South 700 East on Friday, December 9 from noon to 3:00 p.m. MT. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase RSL merchandise at a 30% discount and all jerseys at 50%.


        In conjunction with the Holiday Open House, RSL will host a 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany draw watch party live from Leipzig, Germany at 1:00 p.m. MT on ESPN2.  The U.S. Men's National Team will use the city of Hamburg as its home base throughout the upcoming 2006 FIFA World Cup, which will be staged in 12 venues in Germany from June 9 to July 9, 2006.</p>


        "Real Salt Lake welcomes the Utah soccer community, sponsors and the media as it kicks off the Christmas season celebration with its Holiday Open House," said RSL General Manager Steve Pastorino. "The event also features a 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany draw party, which effectively launches the 2006 international soccer campaign."</p>


        Three RSL players - DF Eddie Pope (United States), MF Leslie "Tiger" Fitzpatrick (T&amp;T) and DF Douglas Sequeira (Costa Rica) - will find out its opponents and the sites of its three group matches.  The U.S., Costa Rica and Trinidad join Mexico as the four CONCACAF members that will compete in the 2006 FIFA World Cup.  The U.S. finished atop the group in CONCACAF for the first time during the qualifying stage in 2005.</p>


RSL CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS WITH THE ROAD HOME: RSL Owner David W. Checketts and family will be at The Road Home on Sunday, December 25 to serve Christmas dinner located at 210 South Rio Grande Street (455 West). The Road Home provides support and shelter for overcoming homelessness by providing people with basic needs such as food, clothing and shelter, while immediately working with them to develop a plan for housing. The programs are designed to connect people with resources and help integrate them back into the community. RSL will also accepting donations for the homeless and the following are the items requested by The Road Home: sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, pots & pans, dishes, towels; new underwear, socks, shoes & boots, coats, diapers, pull-ups, baby wipes, new car seats, new strollers; deodorant, lotion, razors, shampoo, conditioner, and toothbrush & toothpaste. Individuals who donate any of these items will also receive an additional 10 percent off all merchandise on Friday, December 9 at the RSL Holiday Open House. 2005 REAL SALT LAKE HOLIDAY PACK: RSL fans who purchase one new season ticket package, two new mini-season packages or one new flex season ticket package will receive an official adidas RSL Beanie Cap. The RSL 2006 season ticket package features 20 games, including all 16 MLS regular season games, four special bonus games. Real Salt Lake's season ticket pricing remains level with the 2005 prices, and consists of Youth (15 and younger) and Adult in five price levels. Prices for the 2006 season ticket packages are $200 adult ($180 youth) for the North Goal, $300 adult ($240 youth) for the Corner Flag, $400 ($320 youth) for East Sideline, $500 ($400 youth) for VIP and $1,000 ($1,000 youth) Club seats.


The 2006 mini-plan features 10 games (to be announced once the MLS 2006 schedule is announced), including nine MLS regular-season games and one special bonus game. Real Salt Lake's mini-plan ticket pricing consists of Youth (15 and younger) and Adult in four price levels. Prices for the 2005 mini-plan season ticket packages are $130 adult ($110 youth) for the North Goal, $180 adult ($150) for the Corner Flag, $220 adult ($180 youth) for East Sideline and $300 adult ($230 youth) for VIP seats.


To add more options for fans, RSL is also offering the flex season ticket package, which is comprised of twenty vouchers of the same price category (North Goal, Corner Flag, Premium and VIP) that allows the purchaser to determine which games they would like to see in the regular reason and how many tickets needed for that game. Prices for the 2005 Flex Package are $280 for the North Goal, $340 for the Corner Flag, $440 for the East Sideline and $560 for the VIP seats. Tickets can be redeemed in the following way: one could use all the vouchers and bring 20 people to one game or 4 people could attend five games. Flex vouchers are discounted from the day of game pricing making it an even greater value.
