MLS, FSC announce full schedule

Major League Soccer and Fox Soccer Channel on Friday officially announced the complete national broadcast schedule for league matches on the network. FSC will broadcast more than 30 regular season MLS games as well as a selection of MLS Cup playoff matches.

The 2005 season marks the third consecutive year that the newly renamed network (formerly Fox Sports World) will provide coverage of the USA's top professional soccer league. A complete MLS coverage schedule for FSC's Spanish-language affiliate, Fox Sports en Espanol, will be announced in the near future.

Fans of every MLS team will have an opportunity to see their team on FSC, as all 12 teams are set to be featured at least once in the 32-game regular season. Reigning MLS Cup champion D.C. United lead the way nine broadcasts, which is matched by the 2004 Eastern Conference finalist New England Revolution.

Additionally, the Los Angeles Galaxy and their new star Landon Donovan are scheduled for seven appearances, while a revamped FC Dallas squad will be featured on six occasions.

MLS Wrap, the weekly show highlighting the weekend of MLS action returns for the third season on Fox Soccer Channel. Fans can catch MLS Wrap on Saturday nights at midnight throughout the 2005 season.

Fox Soccer Channel is available on affiliated cable systems and DirecTV and Dish Network satellite providers. For more information on FSC visit their web site at foxsoccer.com, presented by MSN.
