CARSON, CA - On Sunday, December 11, the Galaxy Foundation and Kohl's Department Store are teaming up to present the Sixth Annual Holiday Assist Program. The event will be hosted at the Cerritos Towne Center Kohl's location (12821 Towne Center Drive). It will feature a Holiday Shopping Spree for 100 local children in need, with the help of seven members of the 2005 MLS Cup Champions, the Los Angeles Galaxy.
The event will take place from 7-9 am. Additionally, each child will receive a $100 Kohl's gift card, courtesy of the Galaxy Foundation and Kohl's, to be spent on much-needed clothing items and holiday shopping. After shopping, all of the children participating will be treated to holiday refreshments and will receive goodie bags.
