NEW YORK - Major League Soccer's Disciplinary Committee announced today that D.C. United defender Ryan Nelsen has been issued a $100 fine for a showing a lack of respect for the game in United's 3-2 win over the MetroStars on Oct. 17.
The 2004 MLS Cup Playoffs kick off in Denver on Friday night in the first leg of the Western Conference Semifinal series between the Los Angeles Galaxy and the Colorado Rapids. The weekend schedule follows:
