COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Columbus Crew and Major League Soccer will make a major joint announcement on Tuesday, March 8, at 11:30 a.m. (ET) at a press conference to be held in The Huntington Club at Columbus Crew Stadium.
Columbus Crew and MLS officials will participate in the event in addition to other featured guests. The press conference at The Huntington Club is open to the public. The live teleconference call will also be streamed live on the league's official web site at www.MLSnet.com as well as right here at www.TheCrew.com.
The announcement will be made in conjunction with the on-sale of Crew single-game tickets. Single-game tickets for all 16 Crew home games in 2005 will go on sale at 10 a.m. at the Crew Stadium Box Office, at any area Ticket Master outlet, via phone at 614-431-3600 or on-line at TheCrew.com.
In honor of the 10th Season of The Crew and MLS, special $10 single-game tickets will be available for purchase for 10 hours on Tuesday, only at Crew Stadium, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Crew Soccer Nation members (Crew season ticket holders) may take advantage of this one-day offer but will also receive this special 10th Season offer in the mail. Fans can visit the Crew's official Web site at www.TheCrew.com for the club's entire schedule. The Supporters' Shield will also be on display at Crew Stadium.
