The MetroStars game vs. Real Salt Lake will be played as scheduled (7 p.m. ET kickoff). Rain does not force the postponement or cancellation of Major League Soccer matches.
Although the tournament finals have been postponed, your tickets are only valid for Saturday's MetroStars game. As is general policy for all events, there are no refunds and/or exchanges, so Soccer Coliseum fans are encouraged to attend. Covered seating is available.
As a result of the postponement, those teams scheduled to participate in Saturday's finals will be invited to attend and participate in the rescheduled tournament as part of the Metros' April 16 match. More details on this issue will be made available to the participating teams over the next few days.
"We made a decision to postpone the tournament to ensure another positive experience for the participants in the Soccer Coliseum Cup," said MetroStars president and general manager Nick Sakiewicz. "Despite the tournament's postponement, we hope that fans will still come out to support the MetroStars and enjoy a terrific match against Real Salt Lake."
