CARSON, Calif. - Chivas USA will hold an exhibition match against the Southern California Seahorses of the Premier Development League (PDL) next Saturday, July 23 at 7:00 p.m. PT at the stadium of La Mirada High School, located at 13520 Adelfa Dr., La Mirada, CA 90638, near Rosecrans Ave. and La Mirada Blvd.
In addition to being able to see the stars of Chivas USA in action, fans can also meet the ChivaGirls.
Tickets for the match cost $15, and the price includes a ticket for Chivas USA's 2005 MLS regular season match on Saturday, September 3 at 7:00 p.m. at The Home Depot Center between Chivas USA and the Columbus Crew.
In addition, Chivas USA announced today that forward Juan Pablo García will arrive in Los Angeles this afternoon, following his participation with the Mexican National Team in the 2005 CONCACAF Gold Cup. The 23-year-old Guadalajara native will train tomorrow for the first time with Chivas USA and Saturday's game against the Seahorses could mark García's Chivas USA debut.
García arrives this afternoon to Los Angeles International airport at 2:55 p.m. PT on United flight # 231. Tonight García will attend the match between Real Madrid and the Los Angeles Galaxy at The Home Depot Center, and tomorrow he will train with Chivas USA starting at 10 a.m. PT. Also present in Chivas USA's practices starting tomorrow will be two players on trial with the Red-and-White: defender-midfielder Héctor 'El Pirata' Castro and goalkeeper Sergio García 'Matute'.
