Chicago Fire Business Alliance update

CHICAGO - The Chicago Fire's business network, the Chicago Fire Business Alliance (CFBA), today kicked off its 2006 Kicks for Kids Program, a community outreach initiative that provides thousands of metropolitan area under-privileged children with the opportunity to attend Fire games.

As a partner of the Fire's Kicks for Kids Program, each company will receive turnkey participation in a community outreach initiative to distribute tickets to a mutually selected 501c3 charity or community group of its choice. The Kicks for Kids seats will be located in the Corner Kick sections (101, 102, or 103) at the Fire's world-class facility in Bridgeview, scheduled to open in June 2006. The total investment from companies is 100% tax deductible. Since 1998, over 15,000 children from across the Chicagoland area have benefited from the Fire's Kicks for Kids ticket donation program.

"The Kicks for Kids Program, in conjunction with the FireWorks for Kids Foundation, has supported thousands of underprivileged kids over the past few years," said Chicago Fire Premium Seating Director Mike Beauvais. "It's a great way for Chicagoland companies to give back to the community and receive some marketing benefits in return. Without a doubt, out Kicks for Kids Program is one of our strongest community outreach initiatives and a big part of the Chicago Fire Business Alliance."

Some of the benefits associated with being a part of the Fire's Kicks for Kids Program are the following:

  • Company logo on Kicks for Kids supporters page in FREEKICK magazine-the official game day magazine of the Chicago Fire and Major League Soccer, as well as on the CFBA Directory and Chicago-Fire.com/Kicks for Kids page.
