Chicago Fire around the town

CHICAGO - Members of the Chicago Fire roster and staff will be making numerous appearances throughout the Chicagoland area during the upcoming week. Four members of the "Men in Red" - Scott Buete, Jim Curtin, David Mahoney and Jared Montz - will promote living a healthy lifestyle to area youths as the Fire's American Lung Association school assemblies continue in Niles and Bridgeview. The club's players are not the only ones getting out and about, as Fire President/CEO John Guppy will be making an appearance on WGN-TV's "Adelante" program on Saturday morning alongside FireWorks for Kids Executive Director Jessica Yavitz.

This Sunday, the entire Chicago Fire squad and staff will take part in the club's annual Meet the Team Social, which will be held in the Chicago Southland for the first time at Odyssey Fun World in Tinley Park. The Meet the Team event is open only to Fire season ticket holders and admittance will not be allowed to the general public.
