Burn trade Hendrickson rights to D.C.

DALLAS - The Dallas Burn announced today that the team has traded the rights to Ezra Hendrickson to DC United for future considerations.

Hendrickson was acquired by the Burn on July 11, 2003 along with Gavin Glinton and a first round pick in the 2004 draft for Ryan Suarez, Paul Broome and Antonio Martinez. He played in 16 matches for the Burn, registering one goal and one assist before being waived on March 2, 2004.

The Burn also announced today that the team has called in Andrew Terris for Saturday's match vs. DC United. With goalkeeper Scott Garlick sidelined with a high ankle sprain, Terris will back up Jeff Cassar for Saturday's match. Terris played collegiately at Stanford and was named All-Academic, All Pac-10 and All-American Academic his senior year. He has been with the MetroStars for the past two weeks while Jonny Walker was with the National Team and he has also spent time training with the Los Angeles Galaxy this year.
