Omari Glasgow

2022 (CHICAGO FIRE II): Recorded a start and 65 minutes of play against FC Cincinnati 2 in the 3-0 victory on July 9, 2022...Glasgow recorded a 90 minute start on July 2, 2022, recording back to back games with starts since his return to the Fire II lineup...Omari keeps it goin’, picking up an assist in the opening goal against New England Revolution II, in a game where Chicago Fire FC defeated the Revs 4-3 on June 26th, 2022...In his return to Chicago Fire FC II from national team duty, Glasgow recorded his third of the season in the 1-1 PK loss to Philadelphia Union II on June 19, 2022... In his third appearance, he recorded 62 minutes of action where he logged an assist and scored a goal in the 54’ in the 6-2 victory over Toronto FC II...Started in his first match against FC Cincinnati 2, where he logged his first career goal in Fire colors on May 15, 2022...Made his MLS NEXT Pro debut on May 8, 2022 when he subbed in for Josh Penn in the 62’.

Glasgow is under contract through the 2023 season, with a Club option for 2024. Glasgow, 18, joins the Fire from Western Tigers in the Guyanese first division. Internationally, he has represented Guyana at the senior, U-20 and U-17 age levels. Glasgow has earned four caps for the Guyana senior team, most recently participating in 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Bahamas (4-0), St. Kitts and Nevis (0-3) and Puerto Rico (0-2). Glasgow currently occupies an international slot on the Club’s MLS NEXT Pro roster. The speedy winger looks to bring his youth and experience on the international stage to the Chicago Fire second team.
