Turner started the 2018 preseason third on Brad Friedel's depth chart. He started the regular season as No. 1 for the Revs and held that spot for the remainder of the year. Turner was a key part of the Revolution's successful 2020 season, which saw them make a run to the Eastern Conference Final in the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs. Turner had seven MLS clean sheets in all competitions, and had the fifth-most saves of MLS goalkeepers in 2020 with 68 saves. The performances earned him a nomination for last year's Goalkeeper of the Year, and he finished second in the vote behind the Philadelphia Union's Andre Blake. He was also named the Revolution's MVP in 2020.
