Matheus Aias
HOW ACQUIRED: Signed via transfer from Watford FC on August 21, 2020.
Aias comes to Orlando fresh off two seasons in the Spanish second division as the Lions look for a consistent presence up top.
OUTSIDE MLS: Spent the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons on loan with Mirandes in Spain's La Liga 2, where he had 23 goals in 74 appearances. That total includes his six goals in the 2019-20 Copa del Rey, where five of those strikes came against La Liga sides Celta de Vigo, Villarreal, Sevilla and Real Sociedad as Mirandes made a run to the semifinals. Turned pro in Spain with Granada after moving there from Brazilian side Ponte Preta.
