A well-rounded forward that knows where the goal is, Cavallini returns to his native country for the first time as a pro. After productive spells in Liga MX and the Uruguayan Primera Division, expectations for Cavallini will be high after Vancouver reportedly paid a multi-million dollar transfer fee for the player.

INTERNATIONAL: Cavallini has scored 11 goals in 17 senior national team appearances for Canada, including strikes against regional powerhouses in Mexico and the USA.

OUTSIDE MLS: Began his pro career in 2012 with Club Nacional, one of Uruguay's and South America's top clubs, after moving to their youth academy from Canada in 2009. During his five plus seasons in the Primera Division with Nacional, Juventud, Fenix, and Peñarol, Cavallini scored 44 goals and added 11 assists in 125 appearances across all competitions. His strong play there earned him a move to Liga MX with Puebla, where he registerd 29 goals and eight assists in 81 appearances across all competitions with the club.
