HOW ACQUIRED: Signed to a multi-year contract on February 27, 2020.

The midfielder out of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, was selected by the San Jose Earthquakes in the second round of the 2020 MLS SuperDraft. He will look to continue to develop professionally in 2021. 

OUTSIDE MLS: Skahan made one appearance, and scored his first professional goal, on a loan stint with Reno 1868 in the USL Championship in 2020. 

COLLEGE: Skahan was a four-year starter for the Tar Heels, totaling 12 goals and 12 assists across 71 appearances (60 starts). He earned All-ACC Second Team honors in 2019 and All-ACC Third Teams honors in 2018. The Skahan-led Tar Heels finished with the best regular-season record in the ACC Coastal Division in 2016, 2017 and 2018, qualifying for the NCAA Tournament all three seasons. UNC also reached the ACC Tournament Final in 2018.

INTERNATIONAL: Skahan was called up for the US Under-16 team during 2014-15.
