HOW ACQUIRED: Signed from Bethlehem Steel FC on Dec. 21, 2017. Contract option for 2020 season exercised on Nov. 20, 2019. Loaned to St. Poelten through June 2020 on February 6, 2020. Signed contract extension through 2022 with an option for 2023 on Dec. 2, 2020

A tall, athletic forward, Burke returned to the Union towards the end of the 2020 season after 18 months gone due to a visa snafu. He has 14 goals in 41 appearances (20 starts) over the last three seasons, with 10 goals in 15 starts in 2018, the only full season he was available.

INTERNATIONAL: Burke earned 18 caps for the Jamaican national team since debuting in a World Cup qualifier against Haiti in Sept. 2016. Has six goals for the Reggae Boyz and participated in five of their matches as they finished runners-up in the 2017 Concacaf Gold Cup.

OUTSIDE MLS: His two loans since his last Union appearance were each successful, with 11 goals in 18 matches at Portmore United then four goals and two assists with SKN St. Pölten in Austria's Bundesliga. He scored 13 goals across two seasons for Bethlehem Steel after joining ahead of their inaugural 2016 campaign. Was second on the team with nine tallies in 2017. Previously played in his native Jamaica for Rivoli United, where he netted 25 goals in 75 games.
