Alfredo Talavera is an experienced goalkeeper who currently plays for Toluca in Liga MX.

MEXICAN NATIONAL TEAM

Talavera was first called up to El Tri in 2011. In that year's Gold Cup he started every game for Mexico after Jesús Corona and Guillermo Ochoa were suspended. 

CLUB CAREER

At the club level Talavera spent much of his career as a backup for Chivas de Guadalajara. In 2009 he was transferred to Toluca and has been their No. 1 goalkeeper ever since.
