The senior sides will dominate the headlines in San Antonio, but there will be another US-Mexico clash to watch out for in April.

On Sunday, U.S. Soccer announced the Under-23 national team will face El Tri on April 22 at StubHub Center in Carson, California (11 pm ET). The game will serve as preparation for the CONCACAF Men’s Olympic Qualifying Championship, which will be held Oct. 1-13 in the United States.

The Americans are currently in the midst of their first training camp of 2015 in Europe. The camp marks the beginning of the team’s qualifying preparations for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. The US failed to qualify for the 2012 London games.

After training from March 23-26 in Tuzla, Bosnia & Herzegovina, the U.S. played its first friendly of the year on March 27, defeating Bosnia 5-2 behind goals from Jordan Morris, Mario Rodriguez, Benji Joya, Alonso Hernandez and Fatai Alashe. The team next faces Denmark on Tuesday in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The U-23 MNT is led by head coach Andi Herzog, who has served as an assistant coach under Jurgen Klinsmann since 2011. Herzog’s assistants include John Hackworth, who serves as head coach of the U-15 national team, USMNT scout Matthias Hamann and goalkeeper coach Memo Valencia.
