TORONTO - Forward Calen Carr recorded a goal and assist to led the Chicago Fire Reserves to a 2-2 draw against the Toronto FC Reserves in a Major League Soccer Reserve Division game held at BMO Field. The contest followed the first-team match up between the squads.
The Reserves' leading scorer, Carr found Pascal Bedrossian open in the 32 minute to knot the game at 1-1, then gave the Fire a brief second half lead in the 57th minute. Gathering a loose ball in the box, Carr whirled and one-touched a shot from 12-yards out past goalkeeper Srdjan Djekanovic.
Toronto (0-1-2) preserved a tie on Marco Reda's goal scored with 18 minutes left in regulation.
The Chicago Fire Reserves (0-2-2) are off until June 4 when they host the Columbus Crew Reserves at TOYOTA PARK.
Notes:
Nick Nobel replaced starter Jon Busch in the second half and made two solid saves to keep the Fire in contention.
Ivan Guerrero saw 70 minutes of action after coming off the bench for the first team earlier in the day.
The four goals marked the Fire Reserves' highest scoring game of the season.
