The CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal series between the San Jose Earthquakes and Mexico's Toluca took an unusual turn on Wednesday after Brian Dunseth reported on the Fox Sports 2 broadcast just prior to kickoff that San Jose had filed a complaint to CONCACAF claiming that Toluca filmed one of their training sessions.
The series is currently knotted at 1-1 on aggregate after the first leg in San Jose.
Neither the Earthquakes nor CONCACAF immediately responded to MLSsoccer.com requests for comment on the report.
