Tweet, 'gram, like, share…. These are all words in our language that didn’t exist just a few years ago, or which have recently taken on new meanings. Our world is a social world now.

Fans, players, and clubs are submitting their best pics in four categories: Let Me Take a #Selfie, Family Matters, the Bigger Picture, and #BFFs.

Today we feature the last of our four categories of the Soshies, #BFFs. You’ve probably seen the connections the field, but did you know about all the budding (or full-blown) bromances off the field? Nights out, fishing trips, coordinated goal celebrations, and more come out of these tight-knit relationships between teammates.

A few examples….

#GargsAndGordo (LA Galaxy)

Andrea Pirlo, David Villa, and Frank Lampard (New York City FC)

Victor Ulloa and Moises Hernandez (FC Dallas )

Dax McCarty and #Squad (New York Red Bulls)

Steve Birnbaum and Chris Pontinus (D.C. United)

Eric Avila and Brek Shea (Orlando City SC)

Teal Bunbury and Charlie Davies (New England Revolution)

Dom Dwyer and Sydney Leroux plus USWNT and Sporting KC

And don’t forget we’re also seeking MLS’ Most Social player for our bracket challenge.

“Whether they’re on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Vine, MySpace or all of the above, they’re just dominating. They’re experts with apps, filters, RTs, and are always up for sharing socially.”
