Los Angeles Football Club Forward Diego Rossi Voted Alcatel MLS Player of the Week
NEW YORK

– Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) forward Diego Rossi was voted the Alcatel Major League Soccer Player of the Week by the North American Soccer Reporters (NASR) for the second week of the 2018 MLS season.
In LAFC’s second-ever match, Rossi dazzled with two goals and three assists, leading his club to a 5-1 victory over Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium on Saturday. The 20-year-old has factored into every LAFC goal in club history, and he leads MLS in goals and assists this season, recording three apiece. LAFC sits atop the Western Conference standings with six points (2-0-0 record).
A native of Uruguay, Rossi scored in the 30

minute to bring the match level at 1-1 when he found space directly in front of goal, calmly finishing with a right-footed strike (
