Save of the Week

Houston Dynamo's Tyler Deric wins third straight MLS Save of the Week award for point-blank stop on Sarvas

This is becoming a trend.

For the third straight week, Tyler Deric has taken home the MLS Save of the Week award. The Houston Dynamo goalkeeper won it this week for his point-blank save on Colorado Rapids midfielder Marcelo Sarvas.

It was a tight race this time around, though: His save beat out Jeff Attinella's of Real Salt Lake by just a few percentage points. New York Red Bulls' Luis Robles finished third, while the Vancouver Whitecaps' David Ousted was right behind him in fourth. Columbus Crew SC's Steve Clark brought up the rear.
