Federico Higuain looks to make a pass

So you probably didn't get to watch every MLS match this weekend. That's what we're here for. Here's what you missed, while you were doing who knows what.

WRONG HIGUAIN GOING TO BRAZIL?: It must be said, Federico Higuain has taken to MLS like a fish to water. The below statistic representing almost a point per game through his first 54 games for the Columbus Crew has prompted some to wonder which Higuain should be headed to Brazil next month.

Trivia time: Who were the first five players in Crew history with 20 goals and 20 assists during their time with the club?

USMNT WORLD CUP FALL-OUT: As was probably expected by most, Seattle Sounders midfielder Brad Evans got the not-so-friendly "US reject" treatment from Cascadia Cup rival Vancouver Whitecaps fans on Saturday, just 48 hours after being cut from the USMNT's World Cup squad. Harsh.

Response, and knockdown point, to one Seattleite:

BREK SHEA SPOTTED IN RBNY GEAR:So maybe the US national team midfielder — who's still under contract with Stoke City, by the way — was only wearing the jersey of his good friend Dax McCarty while at Red Bull Arena on Saturday. Regardless, it's still fun to think about the former FC Dallas teammates linking back up this summer, isn't it?

Also spotted with McCarty while in town over the weekend? Juan Agudelo, who recently failed again in a bid for a United Kingdom work permit in pursuit of his own move to Stoke. We're not saying, we're just saying.

HATIN' ON THE HAIR:Chicago Fire television broadcaster Kevin Egan was not impressed one bit by the latest hairstylings of Crew forward Dominic Oduro. In Oduro's defense, his latest look is actually rather tame, at least compared to this recent cut and dye job.

Egan: “The absolutely disgusting haircut; let's call a spade a spade. Dominic Oduro with the ridiculous hairstyle, ready to come in against his former team.”

Egan's broadcast partner Dan Kelly went back for a second helping of hair-pinions later in the match, saying, "At least he got rid of the pizza slice. Pizza slices could look okay if you've got nine or 10 goals, but when you've got none, you might want to change the hairstyle."
