Red Bull New York Regional Development Schools continued their great start to tournament play, with the girls' teams picking up where the boys left off last weekend.
Following last weekend's successes in the boys categories, the girls U-12 and U-14 teams both triumphed in their respective age groups at this weekend's tournaments at West Orange Soccer Palace in New Jersey.
Facing stiff competition from some of the region's top youth soccer organizations, these stars of the future rose to the challenge and both claimed well-earned first place finishes.
The players were again chosen from the Winter Regional Development Schools and were selected as reward for the exceptional talent and attitude they displayed whilst training with Red Bull New York's elite pre-academy training program.
As the first group of players to don a Red Bull New York shirt in competition, these youth teams hope to have started a long tradition of silverware for MLS's newest and most exciting team.
