D.C. United are looking to lock up an Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs home game on Decision Day presented by AT&T against an FC Cincinnati side hoping to end their inaugural MLS season on a high note.

D.C. United (13-10-10) moved a step closer to hosting a first-round game when they played the rival New York Red Bulls to a 0-0 draw at Red Bull Arena Sunday. Bill Hamid made a huge reaction save to deny Cristian Casseres from close range as the Black-and-Red registered a fourth straight clean sheet, extending their shutout streak to 414 minutes.

FC Cincinnati (6-22-5) set a new MLS record for most goals conceded in a single season in a 1-1 draw with Orlando City SC, the previous record-holder, in their home finale Sunday. Allan Cruz gave the hosts the lead with his seventh goal of the season, but Benji Michel leveled in the first minute of second-half stoppage time for the Lions, who were eliminated from playoff contention after New England defeated NYCFC.

In the first meeting this season, Lucas Rodriguez struck for a brace and Wayne Rooney and Paul Arriola added second-half goals in a 4-1 rout for D.C. United at Nippert Stadium July 18.
