Columbus Crew SC goalkeeper Zack Steffen is set to miss his second consecutive match, as the team announced on Monday he underwent a successful meniscectomy on his left knee last week and is expected to miss Saturday's game against Real Salt Lake (7:30 pm ET | Full TV & Streaming Info).
Steffen, 23, missed Columbus' game over the weekend, a 2-0 loss at LAFC, after reportedly suffering the injury in training last week. He has seven shutouts in 14 MLS regular season appearances so far this season, and recently set a new team record 525-minute shutout streak in league play.
