ORIGINAL: Saturday night's match between Austin FC and Real Salt Lake has entered a weather delay due to inclement weather near Q2 Stadium.
With RSL up 1-0 on Rubio Rubin's opener at the quarter-hour mark, the Matchday 17 showdown between Western Conference foes was paused in the 40th minute as a result of lightning strikes within an 8-mile radius of the stadium.
Should the weather clear up according to plan, the match is scheduled to restart at 11:22 pm ET. It can be viewed globally, and without blackouts, via MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
