Center back Orozco Fiscal played the full 90 minutes in his first appearance in Mexico's new cup competition and was solid as 10-man San Luis came from behind to equalize in the 73rd minute through Santiago Trellez.

The point means San Luis sit in first place in Group 4 on eight points, three more than second-place Necaxa, with three games of the group stage remaining. Only the top-placed team from each of the seven groups and the best second-placed team qualify for the quarterfinals.

In Wednesday's Copa MX action, José Torres is likely to again captain Pachuca, this time in their match away against La Piedad. Torres missed the team's league win last weekend against Querétaro and has been called up for the cup game.

Sonny Guadarrama and Isaac Acuña should feature for Mérida in the Estadio Olímpico against Pumas UNAM, while Adrian Ruelas' Veracruz take on Querétaro.
