Real Salt Lake's Nedum Onuoha is among the growing ranks of MLS players who podcast

Nedum Onuoha

There's that old saying about doing something you love, so it never feels like work. But Real Salt Lake defender Nedum Onuoha is lucky enough to have found two somethings.

The 33-year-old center back is in his 17th professional season and third with RSL, and is now a year into his life as a host of the podcast "Kickback with Nedum", club beat reporter Alex Vejar writes in the Salt Lake Tribune. A natural talker, Onuoha's weekly release discusses far more than soccer, and has included a D.J., an American football player and a martial artist among his guests.

Onuoha isn't the only MLS player out there who is podcasting. Minnesota United center back Ike Opara is part of the trio that hosts the BSI podcast, alongside recently retired players Benny Feilhaber and Sal Zizzo. D.C. United's Julian Gressel has used the coronavirus hiatus to launch "The Gressel Special" via the club's website.
