TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Roster update

Bacary Sagna appeared to announce his departure from the Montreal Impact on Sunday, via a Twitter post in which the veteran fullback bid the club farewell after a year and a half in Quebec. As of Sunday afternoon, the Impact had not made an official announcement on the matter.

"Glad to have discovered @MLS with @impactmontreal," said Sagna in the French segment of his tweet. "Make way for the next chapter now. THANK YOU 🙏🏾"

Sagna, 36, arrived at IMFC in 2018 after distinguished stints in France, England and Italy, most notably as a two-way threat down the right flank for Arsenal and Manchester City in the upper reaches of the Premier League. He made 35 career MLS appearances (34 starts) over the past two seasons, scoring two goals and three assists.
