The Montreal Impact have created a Scouting and Development Center for clubs in the province of Quebec that wish to participate, the club announced Wednesday.
The initiative will expand the club's scouting network within the province, identifying potential future stars for the club, and will be open to boys and girls. In return, the Impact will provide complimentary training sessions handled by the club's academy, as well as training gear and tickets to games.
Montreal will also host a collaboration between coaches of amateur clubs and their academy coaches.
The Impact are next in action on Saturday against NYCFC (1 pm ET | MLS LIVE on ESPN+ in US, TVAS in Canada).
