Alphonso Davies out of Canada camp as 3 MLSers are called in

Alphonso Davies -- Close Up -- Canada home kit

Canada Soccer announced three changes to John Herdman's Canada national team squad for a Concacaf Nations League qualifier against French Guiana on Sunday at BC Place.

Toronto FC midfield duo Jay Chapman and Liam Fraser and Orlando City rookie center back Kamal Miller replace Miller's club teammate Will Johnson, Bayern Munich attacker Alphonso Davies and Rangers midfielder Scott Arfield.

Chapman has two caps for Canada, scoring one goal for his country. Fraser (pictured above) has yet to make an appearance at senior level for the CanMNT, and Miller's call-up is his first for the senior squad.

Canada enter the match looking to both clinch qualification for the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup and to qualify for Group A of the inaugural Concacaf Nations League.
