New England Revolution announce end of season roster moves

TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Roster Update

The New England Revolution have officially declined the contract options of six players for 2019, most notably defender Claude Dielna, who spent a season-and-a-half in Foxborough on a Designated Player contract.

Midfielder Guillermo Hauche, forward Femi Hollinger-Janzen, midfielder Cristhian Machado, defender Nicolas Samayoa and midfielder/defender Mark Segbers also had their contract options declined.

Additionally, forward Juan Agudelo and defender Chris Tierney are out of contract with the Revs at the end of the year, as Tierney is eligible for free agency.

The Revs picked up contract options on 15 other players, bringing their total roster to 19 players under contract for the 2019 season.

Both Caicedo and Penilla had their permanent transfer options to MLS exercised last Friday, following their year-long loans from Cortulua and Pachuca, respectively.
