Three Things

  • THE BIG PICTURE: Sporting build some rhythm and move up to second place in the West, albeit against a heavily rotated LAFC side. The hosts will be disappointed to see their home unbeaten run end, but with the games coming thick and fast, Bob Bradley had little choice but to rotate.
  • MOMENT OF THE MATCH: The opening goal was a great combination of teamwork and individual skill.
  • MAN OF THE MATCH: Ilie continued his good run from the penalty spot and absolutely dominated LAFC's overmatched midfield in controlling the run of play.
