Ramos calls in 20 players, including 10 with MLS ties, for U-20 camp

Coach Tab Ramos has called in a 20-man roster for the US U-20 men's national team's weeklong July training camp in Raleigh, N.C., a group that includes 10 current MLS academy or first-team players.


Ramos will be evaluating players for their potential contributions to a squad that competes in the Concacaf U-20 Championship this November in Bradenton, Fla. The top four teams in that tournament will qualify for the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland.


Below are the 20 players who will convene in North Carolina for a camp that begins on Sunday and runs through the following Sunday, July 22.

Defenders (5): Chris Gloster (Hannover 96), Lennard Maloney (FC Union Berlin), Manny Perez (N.C. State University), Sam Rogers (Seattle Sounders), Aedan Stanley (St. Louis FC)
Midfielders (7): Taylor Booth (Unattached), Chris Goslin (Atlanta United FC), Richie Ledezma (Real Salt Lake), Paxton Pomykal (FC Dallas), Brandon Servania (FC Dallas), Aristotle Zarris (LA Galaxy), Sean Zawadski (Columbus Crew SC)
