Atlanta United midfielder Darlington Nagbe will be out an estimated two-to-three months due to a right adductor injury, the team announced on Tuesday.

Nagbe picked up the injury in the second half of Atlanta's 1-1 draw against the Portland Timbers on Sunday. The 27-year-old has made 17 MLS regular season appearances for Atlanta this season, all starts, and has racked up three assists. He was also named to the 2018 MLS All-Star Game Fan XI presented by Target on Monday.

With Nagbe out, team president Darren Eales is hinting at an imminent move in the summer transfer window, which opens officially on July 10.

Head coach Tata Martino explained after the match on Sunday that the two most likely options to replace Nagbe are Kevin Kratz and Julian Gressel, who would move from the right wing to central midfield.
