TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Transfer
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Anton added a lot to our back line during his short time here,” FC Dallas technical director Fernando Clavijo said in a statement. “His range also helped our attack on the left side, but he had some family issues that required his attention back in Bulgaria. We are sad to see him go, but wish him the best of luck in the future.”
The 25-year-old Bulgarian international, who arrived in a transfer from CSKA Sofia on Dec. 21, 2017, made nine consecutive starts at left back for FC Dallas over the first two months of the season, playing the entire 90 minutes eight times and picking up an assist on his debut, a 3-0 win over Seattle Sounders FC.
He suffered a broken collarbone in training ahead of a match against Toronto FC on May 25 and missed four consecutive matches.
